Cody Norling

Clinical Scientist and Home monitoring Specialist

Cody completed a Bachelor of Biomedical Science degree from James Cook University majoring in physiology and pharmacology in 2017. The following year he completed an honours degree focused on stress and detection, this is where his passion for science and health flourished. Once the research was completed, he was feeling home sick so made the trek back Canberra to be closer to family. In 2019 he spent the year working in a sleep clinic learning and broadening his understanding of sleep and the cardiac complications that can arise from poor sleep. While at the sleep clinic, Cody’s thirst for more knowledge on cardiac science led him to branch out from sleep, to cardiac science in 2020. Cody plans to help the community and publish innovative research. In his down time, you’ll find him lifting heavy things early in the morning or at the dog park with a flat white.
